Dr Banks was also a founder member of the IPD. He will be reflecting on his lifetime work in services for people with Learning disabilities.

Stephen will be reflecting on his experiences as a parent of a person with learning disabilities as well as his writing, which includes a couple of play’s concerned with learning disabilities and Stephen is currently researching a history of people with a learning disability.
